Application to change the Status of Licensed Radio Frequency for Radio Links (MCA/10/24)
1. The purpose of this application is to request a change in the status of a radio frequency already licensed under a Radio Link licence. The frequency can either be licensed as a nationwide or on a per link basis.
2. If permission is granted an amended licence will be issued by the Malta Communications Authority (MCA).
3. Prior issuance of a licence, the applicant could be requested to pay any additional licence fees as per paragraphs 3 and 4 of the Fees leviable by Government Departments Regulations (S.L.35.01). Please refer to Annex 1 for further information.
4. Prior completing this form applicants are requested to review the guidance notes published in the Authority’s website (MCA/10/22)
5. Any proposed or necessary changes to be effected to the system described in this application must be notified to the MCA with immediate effect.
6. Completed forms must be sent to the MCA at the address indicated in this form. Incomplete forms will be returned to the applicant. Applicants may send any additional documents to the application form to rcl@mca.org.mt.
